June 26 2014, Lille, France
Six internationally recognized leaders in the field will give seminars addressing various aspects of tumor dormancy, including micrometastasis, stem cell biology, angiogenesis, immunity, systems biology and minimal residual disease
- Abstract deadline – March 31, 2014
- Registration deadline – April 30, 2014
Scope of the meeting
Cancer relapses after a long – sometimes lasting for decades – period of dormancy. Understanding the mechanisms of equilibrium between patient predispositions and minimal residual disease has been challenging for years, but recent findings have led to considerable advances in uncovering the mechanisms that govern the long-term persistence of dormant cells and allow envisioning personal targeted therapy. The first ONCOLille Symposium will focus on the main fundamental and translational scientific approaches currently investigated in the tumor dormancy field.
